Workshop Dates 2026
What To Bring To The Workshops
- Water bottle (1–2L) to stay hydrated (electrolytes optional on hot/humid days).
- Sun protection: SPF 30+ sunscreen, hat and sunglasses (lip balm with SPF recommended).
- Weather layers: a light long-sleeve layer for sun/wind and a rain jacket if showers are forecast.
- Closed-toe, sturdy footwear with grip (work boots or hiking boots are ideal). For safety around horses, no sandals, thongs/flip-flops, open-toe shoes, or heels.
- Long pants (recommended for comfort and protection in paddock environments).
- Insect repellent and hand sanitiser if you’d like them.
- Journal/notebook and pen (optional – materials are provided, but some people love their own).
- Dietary needs & allergies: We cannot cater for specific dietary needs or allergies so we recommend bringing your own clearly labelled snacks/lunch.
- Personal medications you may need on the day (e.g., asthma puffer, antihistamines, EpiPen).
Safety note (Footwear + Medication)
For your safety and comfort around horses, closed-toe shoes/boots are required and long pants are strongly recommended.
If you carry essential medication (including an EpiPen), please bring it with you and keep it accessible. If you have an allergy or anaphylaxis risk, let the facilitator know on arrival so we can support a safe plan for the day.
